It points out that while Diljit receives widespread acclaim for his participation in high-profile patriotic projects like Border 2, his work on the biopic of human rights defender Jaswant Singh Khalra remains in a state of limbo.          The shared content notes that Punjab 95 has been stuck with the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) for three years. This delay stands in contrast to the rapid success of other contemporary releases, such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which the post mentions is being celebrated even as Punjab 95 continues its battle with the censor board. Punjab 95, directed by Honey Trehan, delves into the life of Jaswant Singh Khalra and his investigations into sensitive historical events in Punjab. The film has reportedly faced demands for extensive cuts and changes, preventing its domestic release for almost 36 months.               The post suggests a perceived disparity in how the film industry and regulatory bodies treat different types of stories. While films that align with established nationalistic themes often find a smooth path to the audience, biographical stories that explore complex human rights issues or historical grievances seem to face a much more rigorous and prolonged screening process.     By sharing this specific critique, Diljit Dosanjh aligned himself with the conversation regarding creative freedom and the importance of telling diverse stories. 二 |     Lokesh Kanagaraj is back in prep mode. The director has slipped straight into groundwork for his seventh film, currently referred to as LK7. A team member posted a photo from an early meet, confirming that the director has restarted the cycle that usually precedes one of his big canvas projects. The curiosity around LK7 is understandable. Every move from Lokesh tends to trigger an online theory storm and this one is no exception.Fans initially assumed LK7 would simply be Kaithi 2. The sequel has finally rolled into pre-production after years of anticipation, which only strengthens the possibility. At the same time, there is steady chatter from Telugu industry trackers that Lokesh has been courted for a major Telugu language project. If that becomes official, it would mark his first direct entry into Tollywood. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the film casts him as Devadas with Wamiqa Gabbi as Chandra. Sun Pictures is producing the project following their collaboration on Coolie. Prep work for DC has been steady, with Lokesh attending readings and workshops as he balances the shift from behind the camera to in front of it.He was earlier attached to direct Rajinikanth in Thalaivar 173 for Raaj Kamal Films International but stepped away after reported creative differences. The cast featured Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Rachita Ram, with Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde making short appearances. Audience reaction, however, was divided. Some fans enjoyed the scale and swagger but a sizeable section criticised the uneven screenplay and the lack of the trademark precision seen in Kaithi and Vikram. Critics echoed the same concerns.
